Microsoft has acknowledged the existence of two distinct glitches in Windows 11 impacting a portion of its user base, as noted by Windows Latest.
The more critical problem triggers a Black Screen of Death (BSOD) accompanied by the KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE error message. This fault is associated with specific graphics hardware setups and an error within the dxgmms2.sys system file, responsible for handling DirectX memory allocation.
Concurrently, an issue in the elective January patch (KB5074105) is disrupting Wi-Fi functionality. Certain computers are unable to link to wireless networks employing the WPA3-Personal encryption standard.
Microsoft states that resolutions for both problems are incorporated in Windows 11 version 26200.7840 (KB5077181) and subsequent builds. This update launched at the start of the month and is gradually deploying to eligible devices.
