According to The Verge, Honeycomb Aeronautical plans to release the Echo Aviation Controller, a cordless device crafted exclusively for flight simulation software. It merges the ergonomics of a standard video gamepad with authentic aviation features.
The left portion features standard gaming elements such as analog sticks and action buttons, whereas the right section incorporates aviation-oriented mechanisms like four throttle levers, a trim adjustment wheel, rudder controls, and various flight switches. This setup eliminates the requirement for keyboard input.
Connectivity options include USB-C cable or a Bluetooth adapter, with compatibility for titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator and additional programs. The package includes a protective carrying case along with swappable button caps.
The Echo Aviation Controller is slated for availability in the middle of December 2025 at a cost of $149.99.
