At CES this week, the smart gardening company iGarden unveiled a pair of innovative robotic lawn mowers, adding 2WD and AWD variants to its portfolio to appeal to residential users looking for effortless yard maintenance.
These L Series and L AWD Series devices belong to iGarden's expanding AI-driven outdoor technology platform, boasting up to eight hours of operation, advanced LiDAR for light detection and ranging combined with AI-based visual processing, plus a 1080p high-definition camera offering a broad viewing angle. The units enable instant environmental scanning and evasion of barriers in real time. Installation is straightforward for both, eliminating the need for boundary cables or intricate setups such as RTK positioning antennas, commonly employed in premium automated mowers for accurate guidance.
The iGarden L AWD Series is equipped to manage inclines reaching 70%, making it suitable for rough landscapes.
With its all-wheel-drive system providing superior grip, the L AWD Series is built to navigate gradients as steep as 70% or 35 degrees, suiting properties with difficult ground conditions. Company representatives note that each model employs smart path optimization to deliver uniform and accurate mowing results.
These latest additions connect seamlessly to iGarden's comprehensive app-managed outdoor network, showcased alongside at the event. iGarden views its AI platform as the key coordinator for linked garden gadgets, although specifics regarding interconnectivity and app-based management options remain under wraps.
For CES visitors, iGarden's demonstration is located at booth number 51248.
