Google recently introduced the Personal Intelligence capability for its Gemini AI assistant, designed to analyze users' digital footprints for enhanced familiarity. The tech giant has now revealed plans to extend this functionality to the AI Mode within Google Search.

Integrating services like Gmail and Google Photos with Personal Intelligence enables the search AI to generate individualized results. For instance, it could pull from email confirmations for accommodations and archived vacation snapshots to propose suitable excursions for future trips.

Furthermore, the system can examine images in Google Photos to offer clothing recommendations aligned with a user's aesthetic preferences.

According to Google, users maintain complete oversight of Personal Intelligence. Opting into links with Gmail and Google Photos is entirely voluntary, and disconnections can be made at any time.

The company has committed to excluding content from Gmail emails and Google Photos libraries in the training process for its AI systems.
