Google revealed in a fresh Google Workspace Updates blog entry that it's deploying two enhancements to Gmail's 'Help me write' tool. These changes aim to personalize artificial intelligence-produced messages to reflect users' own voices and to incorporate additional background details for better email suggestions.
The 'Help me write' functionality can now adjust the voice and phrasing of its suggested drafts by analyzing emails users have sent before. Additionally, it gains the capacity to access and incorporate details from users' Google Drive files and Gmail messages to inform its composition recommendations.
Deployment of these 'Help me write' improvements started on May 5, though it could require as long as 15 days for the features to appear in individual Gmail accounts. Keep in mind that access to 'Help me write' is restricted to subscribers of Google AI Plus, Pro, or Ultra plans, as well as those on business or enterprise accounts.
