Industry observers note that i’m a sucker for an elegant PC case, and for my money nothing conveys class more than a nice wooden frame.
The report highlights that that’s why I’m so excited to see PCWorld’s Adam Patrick Murray found a wood-and-glass PC case concept on the floor at Computex that I’d happily build a fresh machine in. PT Cruisers are the exception that proves the rule: a nice wooden accent can make anything feel a little warmer and more inviting.
As part of the ongoing story, now the publisher already sells the Gigabyte Aorus C400 Glass case in black steel and plastic, but the concept on display at Computex 2026 incorporates wooden accents into the frame in a way that reminds me of nothing so much as my Dad’s old media cabinet.
The report highlights that check out Adam’s video for an in-depth rundown of the case’s unique design, and for more hands-on insights into the most recent and greatest PC devices make sure to subscribe to PCWorld on YouTube and check out our weekly podcast The Full Nerd!
