Shazam, the popular application for recognizing tracks from hummed melodies or audio clips, has long been a go-to tool for resolving earworms when a tune lingers in your mind but its title escapes you.
OpenAI has enhanced its ChatGPT platform by incorporating Shazam's music identification capabilities, according to Neowin. This update allows users to pinpoint unfamiliar songs or those playing nearby directly through the AI chatbot.
Users must first enable the Shazam feature in the ChatGPT app store. Once activated, they can invoke it by entering @Shazam within a chat session to inquire about the current song, granting the necessary microphone permissions on their device.
The integration supports ChatGPT across web browsers, Android devices, and iOS platforms.
